Nippon Music Champ
A shout-out to Atlanta Global's favorite show on the whole radio, Nippon Music Champ, the J-pop show on 88.5. Sundays from 6-8 it is time to rock in ATL. The host, b-chan, has an encyclopedic knowledge of Japanese pop. We hope she's got a protege or lackey or confrere or or aide-de-camp or intern or sidekick or something, because we reckon she'll graduate one of these days.
We sadly decry the disappearance of the Radio Madras show. Two weeks or so ago, Shyam announced it would be shut down "permanently again". So now where can we hear records brought from grandma's collection in India? ¶ 11:20 PM
