  "Come to our City!"

Atlanta hatches new strategies to profit from the international economy.

In the great tradition of Atlanta boosterism, the Chamber of Commerce, the Georgia Department of Economic Development, and various titans of commerce today released their strategies to attract further international attention to our city.

According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the C of C consulted Thomas Friedman for his opinion last year after reading _The World is Flat_. GDEcD is trying to get a Chinese Consulate opened up here. Delta wants to be awarded a direct route to Beijing. And of course there's the long battle to get the Secretariat of the FTAA located here.
